MEET JAMES MUNFORD

COMPASSION - EXPERIENCE - LEADERSHIP

As Associate Judge and now the Judge for the 322nd District Court, my court will have the transparency, experience, wisdom, and patience it has had always.  Everyone should be able to rely on the consistency of the policies and procedures that have made this court a success.

My goal is to see that this court provides everyone an opportunity to present their case fairly and receive a timely and well-reasoned decision, within the bounds of the law.

As a family law practitioner, my goal is to have extensive experience in family law but also the family law process.  I've gained expertise in Wills and Probate Law, Partnership Law, Corporate Law, Personal Injury Law, Bankruptcy Law, and Appellate Law.

In family law cases heard in this court, it requires an understanding of how to handle the vast disputes people face in this court.  It is crucial to have an experienced family law attorney on the 322nd District Court bench.

My wife Terry and I have been happily married for thirty-three years.  We have a daughter, Allison, a graduate of Texas A&M.  We attend Saint Luke's Episcopal Church and James was on the vestry board as the Junior Warden.  James is also a member of Sons of the American Revolution, The Sons of the Republic of Texas, General Society of Colonial Wars, Society of the War of 1812, and a former Rotarian, for the Eastside Fort Worth. When we have the time to spend we are actively involved in farming and agriculture, farming with Jim and Terry.
